These free Apple Motion templates are in V5 format and are published for use in Motion 5 and Final Cut Pro X. They are updated and edited versions of the earlier free templates and are published to the correct groups (Text, Generator etc) with parameters that are published and available in FCPX. All V5 templates are in HD and will work in 1080 /720 HD & PAL / NTSC 16:9 SD.
The disc image window that opens automatically after you have downloaded Motion5 templates gives clear instructions of the install process. The install instructions can also be found in the FAQ's.
